Coach Maciel has long held a strong belief in the power of Futsal as a tool for developing young footballers, as demonstrated by the success of notable players in the game. He recognizes Futsal as a fantastic sport in its own right.
With his extensive experience in Futsal, Coach Maciel has achieved remarkable success on the field. He has secured victory in the UK National trophy on three occasions and has reached the final an impressive five times across various age groups. These achievements stand as a testament to Coach Maciel's unwavering dedication to the sport and his ability to nurture skilled and disciplined players. Additionally, he enjoyed a fruitful period coaching the St Marys University Futsal squad.
Coach Maciel's expertise in Futsal has been honed through his studies under the tutelage of two highly accomplished Futsal coaches and educators. Marcos Sorato, a three-time Futsal World Cup winner as the Head Coach of Brazil, and Santi Gea Rodrigues, the former FC Barcelona Futsal Head Coach and current Catalan National Team Head Coach, have played a significant role in shaping Coach Maciel's knowledge and understanding of the game.

Futsal Club Maciel will take part in the 2nd International Menorca Futsal Tournament, reaffirming its commitment to player development and its growing presence on the international futsal stage.

With experienced coaches, players will learn new techniques and improve their existing ones through specialized drills and training sessions.

Working with other players and learning to communicate with them as well a the environment effectively, is a key part of futsal and football. Joining our program will provide players with constant opportunities to hone this.
